The numerous unglued, open layers of high-density Friction Foam™ filling the inside stop broadhead-tipped bolts without target-degrading force. The PosiLOCK compression system holding each layer together allows bolts to slide between the layers of Friction Foam, creating heat and friction that grabs incoming bolts; stopping them cold without damaging them or significantly hurting the target, even after repeated impacts. Friction Foam prevents pass-throughs and stuck bolts. Since bolts are stopped with the friction created between layers of foam, not the destructive force of a blunt impact, bolt removal is a snap.
