I put this bipod on my wifes Marlin 795 .22. It was very easy to install. I like the dual mounting system for the lug attachment because you can still attach your sling. The springs on the retracting legs seem very stiff right now, but maybe they'll break in a little...but i would rather have them tighter than looser. Because they're so tight, the rail attachment seems to flex a little under the pressure when retracting...time will tell if it holds up over the years. Also, the push-button spring-retracting leg extension is loaded to spring back to the shortest leg setting - i would have liked to see it reversed, where you can push the button to snap the legs out to their highest setting...but oh well. I know this is nit-picking for a bipod on a .22...if i were in the field, i would want something different. But for general plinking, this bipod is wonderful for the $$. Very stable, rubber coated leg bottoms, light, and compact. I love outdoor bunker - very fast shipping!
