repairing Keen water shoe	March 24, 2012

I used a combination of Freesole and cotol-240 cure accelerator to repair a sole that had come loose on an expensive pair of keen water shoes. The freesole by itself may have worked if you don't mind waiting 2-3 days and heavily weighting the shoe to the sole; but with mixing the cotol-240 cure accelerator and then coating both the surfaces; the bonding took place in 25-40 minutes and the next day 24 hours, they were ready to wear. I have done this before with a pair of keens 2 years ago, and my other pair is still going strong, showing no signs of seperation.
