The ambidextrous tactical sling adapter is made for attaching various types of tactical slings. It allows mounting either web type slings or those that have lobster claw type clips.

This phosphate finished steel adapter plate replaces the receiver end plate of your telestock, and allows ambidextrous sling mounting on either the primary, or offside shoulder position for a comfortable tactical carry of the weapon. Removal of the stock and receiver extension is necessary for adapter installation. Doesn't interfere with utilization of the forward assist. Manufactured in the USA out of 1050 heat-treated spring. A little tight October 2, 2011

Barely fit my buffer tube, but I managed to get it to work. Light sanding on the inner edges might help, although I did not have to do that. I tapped it down the threads instead.

Just a little too wide July 16, 2010

The adapter is well made and I was able to use it only after filing down the inside sides of the adapter so it would fit. The sides, especially near the bottom areas and right on the sides were a little to wide. Worked just fine though after a little bit of elbow grease.
