P4 Reticle - Description-This reticle is designed specifically to enhance a shooter's long range accuracy and ranging capabilities under a variety of field conditions. The reticle is based on the principle that 1 Minute of Angle (moa) is approximately one inch at 100 yards. The cross lines are divided into 5 moa increments. The width of the line is 2 moa. The length of the short lines are: 2 moa, 3 moa, 4 moa, and 5 moa. These increments are used to measure range to the target and to accurately compensate for bullet drop or wind drift. Any sized target can be ranged by using the formula: Target Size in Inches / moa X 100 = Range in Yards. Once the range is known, the bullet drop can be determined using the manufacturer's tables for your bullet and load.
